Our goal is to provide you with camping and hiking resources to help you better enjoy the outdoors and to find more hiking trails to explore.
Featured Resource: CO Trex - Colorado Trail Explorer - View trails by allowed uses on the map, browse featured routes, and download offline maps. I love using this app when hiking in CO because it's extremely detailed and works great for following trails while offline. And it's free!

If you are looking for hikes to see the aspen trees change in Colorado, here are some great hikes near Frisco and Silverthorne, CO: 1. Meadows Creek to Lily Pad Lake. 2. Lower Cataract Lake Loop 3. North Ten Mile. I've recently hiked all three and the aspens are beautiful! Here's a link to an article with a list of many more options of places to see aspens changing in Colorado as well as an interactive map to help determine the best time for peak leaf color across the United States.
